What to expect?

We provide high quality care for a child’s developing teeth, including preventative care, restorative care, and orthodontics. Our services follow the guidelines and recommendations set forth by the Australian Dental Association, which are updated annually to make sure that your child receives the most updated and appropriate care.

Your child’s first visit includes an oral examination, and depending on the age, we may clean your child’s teeth, administer fluoride treatment and take digital X-rays.

Teeth cleaning includes plaque and tartar removal from tooth surfaces and along the gum line, followed by flossing and polishing the teeth. We may also recommend preventive treatments.

We understand that parents would rather prevent dental problems in their children than have to treat them. We offer a variety of treatments designed to keep your children’s teeth and gums healthy and free of disease.

Fluoride 

Inhibits the demineralization of healthy enamel and enhances the re- mineralization of demineralized enamel. Topical treatments help reduce caries in children who are at caries risk.

Dental sealants 

Toothbrushes can’t get into the pits and grooves of the molars’ biting surfaces to remove all food and plaque. Sealants create a barrier for those difficult-to-reach surfaces to help keep them cavity-free.

Counseling on proper nutrition and dietary habits.

Proper brushing and flossing instruction.

Guidance of erupting teeth 

Directing tooth eruption can improve orthodontic treatment results and can prevent the need for tooth extraction or more serious orthodontic treatment when your child is older.
